The ✊ KNOCK ✊ geocache (GCABKD6) lies at the end of a short walk along the Trent, at Wilford in England.
The river on one side and on the other St Wilfrid's church. Against the wall, a lion's-head knocker, so like a real one that you walk past without seeing it. A button hidden under the housing wakes the mechanism and a green LED lights up: you then have to knock out the rhythm of "Shave and a Haircut, two bits", seven knocks. One wrong knock, the red LED flashes and it all starts again. The right sequence releases the container, which drops into a small cup.
Spire67 and Scuba_2 placed it in July 2023, with the agreement of the parish priest. The housing and the knocker are 3D printed; the owner explains that it took him more than a hundred hours of printing, weeks of circuit design and a dozen hours of soldering. Geocaching HQ made it its geocache of the week in April 2024, then put it at the top of its annual selection.
