The EAST BAF geocache (GC1441Q) was hidden on the east side of Bagram Airfield, in Afghanistan. It was signed 79 times before being archived.
The owner gave two warnings. The first, in capitals: beware of the marked minefields surrounding the area, and there is no reason to leave the concrete paths. The second: do not publish any photo that could compromise the security of the base.
It becomes rather easier to understand why Geocaching HQ chose to archive it…
