The RV 5.08 : Brugge geocache (GC4XMCM) sits on the Markt, the main square of Bruges, Belgium, and was hidden by cricri010 in January 2014. It is one of the most favorited caches in the world.
Named geocache of the week in February 2019, it belongs to an ordinary series: the 308 “RV” caches spread across every province of Flanders, each handing over a piece of the bonus final. It is the only one in the series to have gone through the roof, far ahead of all the others.
Its camouflage is flawless, and the idea has since been picked up in other cities around the world, Paris among them.
