The Noch 780 km Velo bis zur Rheinmündung in den NL geocache (GCAP73T) opens the countdown of a Wherigo series that its author, VeloDuRhin, has sown along the French-German border. It is the longest Wherigo series in Europe. Its German title announces "780 km of cycling still to go to the mouth of the Rhine in the Netherlands".
The route they mark out is the EuroVelo 15, the Rhine cycle route: 1,320 km from Andermatt, in the Swiss Alps, to Hoek van Holland, where the river flows into the North Sea. You follow the water through four countries: Switzerland, the plain of Alsace, the romantic Rhine valley and its castles between Bingen and Bonn, then the Dutch polders.
