M m m my Corona!

The M m m my Corona! geocache (GC9FBMY) hides on the wooded edge of the University Endowment Lands, near Vancouver.

The title is a pun with several drawers: it first sings "My Sharona", the 1979 hit by The Knack, and some also read a salute to the British Commonwealth into it. But the explanation lies in the container, a large plastic bin painted to blend into the scenery: inside, a suitcase, and in the suitcase a Smith Corona typewriter in perfect working order.

Flintstone4 placed it in August 2021, meant, he says, for those who always forget something to write with. All that is left is to type your handle on the logbook, letter by letter. No more excuse for skipping the signature and settling for a photo log (which, as a reminder, the guidelines do not allow)!
Geocaching HQ made it its geocache of the week in January 2024, then kept it among the eight caches of the year.
