The 4,5lb Walleye geocache (GCDFB) was hidden by Jamie Matear in June 2001 in northern Ontario. In twenty-four years, it has been found once.
The reason lies in the access: there is none by land. You have to come by canoe if travelling west to east, or by motorboat if coming up from James Bay, and preferably in spring, when the water is high. The owner adds a piece of advice that says a lot about the season: wear a bug jacket.
