The Space Invader geocache (GC7QEJJ) is an original adventure in the heart of London, a few minutes from the British Museum. Dreamed up by Simply Paul and the artist Tim Hunkin, this indoor Letterbox Hybrid has recorded a multitude of visits and a very large number of favorite points since it was created in 2018. That success earned it an award at the UK Mega 2022 and a place among the “geocache of the week” picks of Geocaching HQ.
The experience leads you to a shop full of curious objects. You have to step inside and find an old wall switch. Flick it to the right rhythm and the hidden mechanism springs into action: green lights come on and a metal flying saucer slowly descends from the ceiling to present you with the logbook!
