The Schatz des Hagen geocache (GC11EJ5) is the twin mystery of Geist des Hagen, hidden six days earlier, in March 2007, by die Helden in the Riedrode forest. It has gathered an impressive number of finds and favorite points.
The premise is drawn from the legend: Hagen is said to have sunk the treasure of the Nibelungs in the Rhine, near Worms, and no one has ever found it. Until the day when, on the opposite bank, felling work supposedly uncovered a treasure casket entirely swallowed by the trunk of a large tree. The owner sums the whole thing up in one line: easy to find, if you have the right coordinates.
